Amy Naw-Vongor was born in Yangon, Myanmar, and came to the United States carrying a love for music that would continue to shape her life. She began playing piano at the age of 8 and discovered her passion for singing at 11 after being inspired by watching Hannah Montana on Disney Channel. What began as a childhood spark has grown into 20 years of piano experience, over 14 years of vocal performance and worship leadership, and 8 years of teaching private piano and voice lessons.
Amy studied Music Arts at Oral Roberts University, where she performed junior and senior vocal recitals and toured nationally as a member of the renowned vocal ensemble Souls A’ Fire, performing for thousands across the country and opening for Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond.
Since then, Amy has continued leading worship teams, mentoring young musicians, teaching students of all ages, and developing as a songwriter and recording artist. She has independently released original music, including her singles Time and Time Again and Yours, available on all major streaming platforms. She currently serves as a worship leader at Abundant Life Assembly of God in Grand Prairie.
Amy is excited to begin her next chapter as the Elementary Music Teacher at Grapevine Faith Christian School while continuing to bring her passion for music education to RockPrep families.
She believes every student has a unique musical voice and strives to create lessons that are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are preparing for a recital, learning their first song, developing their technique, or discovering music for the first time. With her background in worship leadership, Amy is especially passionate about mentoring the next generation of musicians and worship leaders, helping students grow in their musical abilities, confidence, creativity, and purpose.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Arts from Oral Roberts University (2020), a Master of Arts in Music & Worship Studies from Liberty University (2023), and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary & Special Education from American University (2025).

Annie’s passion for music began at 6 years old when she started classical piano lessons, an art she has pursued for over sixteen years. As her love for music continued to grow, she expanded her training into voice, studying with Septien Entertainment Group, The Acting Studio, Brian Schexnayder, and TRAK Academy in the DFW area. Throughout middle and high school, Annie participated in advanced choir ensembles and earned Superior Ratings at the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Solo and Ensemble Contest.
Driven by a desire to use music to encourage and inspire others, Annie has dedicated much of her career to mentoring young musicians. She has served as Assistant Music Director and Vocal Director for Gateway Performing Arts summer productions, helping students develop their musical abilities while building confidence on and off the stage. Annie also completed internships with Gateway Church's NextGen Worship and Gateway Music departments, where she gained experience in worship leadership, songwriting, event coordination, and team development. She currently serves as the NextGen Worship Lead at Gateway Church's Justin campus, directing youth and children's worship teams, coordinating weekly services, and investing in the next generation of worship leaders.
Annie believes every student is uniquely gifted and that music provides an opportunity to cultivate creativity, discipline, confidence, and joy. Her teaching style focuses on building strong musical foundations while creating an encouraging environment where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Whether teaching a beginner or a more experienced musician, Annie's goal is to help each student discover both strong musicianship and a lifelong love of music!
When she's not teaching, Annie enjoys leading worship, designing creative projects, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Annie has completed extensive professional training in piano, voice, music theory, worship leadership, and ensemble performance, including three years of voice instruction with Septien Entertainment Group, Worship Team Academy Singing Levels 1 and 2, private coaching with Brian Schexnayder, training through TRAK Academy, and additional voice studies with The Acting Studio.
Annie holds an Associate of Arts from Tarrant County College (2022) and a Bachelor of Worship Leadership from The King's University (2025)

Erik Snodgrass

Erik spent much of his youth outdoors imagining and adventuring with his brothers, riding dirt bikes, and learning to crack a whip like Indiana Jones. He also loved to sing, though he often kept this passion to himself. Erik’s official introduction to stage performance did not arrive until his sophomore year of high school when a handful of football players were drafted to fill out the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Erik was honored to be trusted with several solos in that show and went on to play lead roles in the remaining four musicals of his high school career. During this time, he also learned acoustic guitar and led the student worship band, having no idea how these early performing arts experiences would shape the rest of his life.
Erik spent his early college years studying theology, leading worship, and traveling the world on performing arts mission trips. After graduation, he was cast in several song-and-dance shows at Six Flags Over Texas, totaling nearly 700 performances over two years. He married his high school sweetheart (and fellow performer), Jennifer, and moved to Los Angeles. While acting in the LA region, Erik returned to college for two more degrees—in theatre. Meanwhile, he taught drama and Bible at a large Christian high school in Pasadena, CA, directing multiple shows at the famed Ambassador Auditorium. As the size of their family and California living expenses increased, Erik and Jennifer moved back to Texas, where they currently reside with their four daughters.
In total, Erik has written, directed, produced, and/or performed in well over 100 productions. He is an ordained minister and serves as Performing Arts Pastor at Gateway Church. Additionally, he has seven years of teaching experience as a middle and high school drama director (at three different schools, including Lake Country Christian School), and has served as an adjunct media arts instructor at The King’s University in Southlake, TX since 2021.
Erik holds a Master of Arts in Theatre from Regent University (2010), where he is also currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting. Additionally, he holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre Arts from Azusa Pacific University (2007) and Biblical Studies from Ouachita Baptist University (2003).
Tayloir Pace

Born and raised in the DFW area, Tayloir spent most of her childhood at the dance studio. By age 5, she was already a member of the competitive dance company. She had a gift for rhythm and musicality and benefited from a strong work ethic.
In college, she studied musical theatre which focused on voice, acting and dance. She was also able to participate in student directing projects as well as student choreography showcases. After college, she worked as an actress and choreographer at regional theaters across the country. Her most notable experiences included: Seussical: The Musical as Sour Kangaroo, Lend Me a Tenor as Diana, Cabaret as Texas, and A Chorus Line as Diana Morales (and at a second theater as Maggie Winslow).
Tayloir moved to New York City in 2013 and ended up working in the Broadway industry at the media giant Broadway.com for five years (specifically for their educational program Broadway Classroom). Her job included the privilege of learning from current Broadway artists in master classes, as well as getting to attend a bunch of Broadway shows!
Tayloir is passionate about the art of music and storytelling and the influence it can have on society. She is a singer/songwriter, musician, dancer, choreographer and worship leader. She has come to realize that each individual has a unique story to tell that has the power to help others. Tayloir is honored to walk alongside each student and to help them reach the full potential God has planned for them!
Ms. Pace holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Southeast Missouri State University (2012).

Mikayla Martin

Mikayla began music instruction with piano in kindergarten. By elementary, she had picked up acoustic and electric guitar. In junior high she joined the band taking on the Bb clarinet and was handpicked to move to the bass clarinet as a result of her mastery level. She lettered in high school band, marching for four years as a Byron Nelson bobcat. During her high school years she added the ukulele, bass guitar, and drums to her list of instruments. She also began playing in the worship band at her church, Fellowship of the Parks, which included multiple sites across the metroplex.
God has used music in such a powerful way in Mikayla’s life and she loves sharing it with the next generation. When Ms. Martin is not teaching, you can find her hanging out with family and friends, leading worship at her church, and playing lead guitar with One Headlight, a 90's cover band.
